They can’t generate the heat caused by friction as effectively, decreasing their ability to sop the vehicle in a safe distance. So if yo hear a grinding like a metallic sound or feel a pulsing ting when applying the brake pedal or the distance you stop is not what it use to be. Oil Change / Lube Service

We recommend oil change every 5,000 miles due to condensation that builds up in the engine due to the extreme outside temperature changes especially in the Winter.

Scheduled Maintenance

It is important to keep up with scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotation, topping off fluids, along with fluid flushes. These are all necessary to keep your vehicle’s reliability and dependability. Keeping up with scheduled maintenance you decrease the amount of break downs and high repair cost. Our technicians will be able to identify any issues before they become major expensive problems. We also want you to know that we are not part changers we do NOT work on commission. If your maintenance book says to change it and that cabin air filter your maintenance books says to change and it is clean and does not need to be changed we are not going to change it. We always look out for you the customer!

Vermont State Inspection

We at MANN & MACHINE take safety as our #1 priority! State of Vermont requires annual safety inspection on you vehicle. This is to ensure the safety for you and other motorist on the road. We all want to make sure your vehicle is in good working condition!

Did you know the state only has even number inspection stickers? 2/4/6/8/10 and 12. What does that mean for you. Say you have a #6 Vermont State Inspection Sticker, you have from May 1- June 30 to get a #6. We ask you to please call early incase there is an issue that need to be fixed before your sticker expires.

Heating / Air Condition Service

There are a number of reasons why your Heating & Cooling system are not working here are some reasons why:

1. The anti- freeze / water level is low in the radiator due to a leak in the cooling system.
2. Bad Thermostat.
3. Blower fan is not working properly.
4. You need a Freon Charge.

Tire Storage

You have no room to store your tires indoors and they are to heavy to carry around. For a small fee we will store your tires indoors and they will be already to put on the next season when you are. With this service you will be called first to make an appointment to get them back on before everyone else.

Exhaust System

Most times a failing muffler you can hear is loud when you press the gas pedal or a rattle indicating that it is loose when driving or a bad smell. The exhaust system in your vehicle is designed to remove hazardous gases from the inside of your engine compartment and keep them away from you and your passengers in the cab of your vehicle. The exhaust system converts those gases to less fumes and converting ten to less harmful emissions. These are just a few indications time for exhaust work. Check Engine Light

There are literally hundreds of reasons that can cause a check engine light to come on your dash. If it stays on solid it is usually okay to drive it to the shop. If it ever starts flashing you need to pull over in a safe spot and have the vehicle towed to the shop.

Suspension

How to know that my suspension is going?

1. Front end noise dive when stopping. When shocks are worn out you feel the front end of the nose of your vehicle go down when you apply the brakes.
2. Rides rough. Vehicle rides rough going over bumps and you feel everyone and after you have gone over the bump the vehicles bounces.
3. Drifting or Pulling. Your vehicle feels like it is drifting or pulling when you are turning. This means the shocks are no longer keeping the vehicle stable on the road working against the centrifugal force of the turn which could cause a roll over.
4. Uneven wear on your tire. If you notice the tread on your tire is wearing down unevenly or there are bold spots, this is often symptoms the suspension is not holding the car evenly which puts uneven amounts of pressure on the tire.

For the convince of our clients you can rent Buzz for as small fee for the day while your vehicle is being serviced. This way you do not have to inconvenience family or friends for a ride. You get to enjoy the ride of a Hybrid Electric Car. You do need to call ahead to schedule Buzz to make sure she is available.
